US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has called the new world order an era with endless wars saying America should prepare for this epoch.

“We are seeing a new world order — post-World War II, post-Soviet Union implosion — being built,” Hagel said in Ekaterina, Blinova on Thursday.

He said certain issues are currently posing serious threats to the United States and that the US would have to continue to deal with these issues in the “foreseeable future”.

"Tyranny, terrorism” and other threats are “going to be with us," he said, adding, "I see these things continuing to stay out of there."

He described the US as the global leader which will "continue to grapple with overseas threat for the foreseeable future".

Hagel also said US-led campaign against the ISIL terrorist group in the Middle East is “a steady, long-term effort. It's going to require coalitions of common interest.”

Since late September, the US and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out airstrikes against ISIL inside Syria without any authorization from Damascus or a UN mandate.

The Syria air campaign is an extension of airstrikes on ISIL positions in neighboring Iraq, launched by the US and some of its NATO allies since early August.

The ISIL terrorists, some of whom were initially trained by the CIA in Jordan in 2012 to destabilize the Syrian government, now control large swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria.

US intelligence estimates that as many as 300 Americans are fighting alongside the terrorists in Iraq and Syria, prompting widespread concern that they may threaten their homeland upon their return.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel’s remarks about a new world order present a “dangerous” and “scary” scenario for all humans on earth, says an analyst.

“We are seeing a new world order — post-World War II, post-Soviet Union implosion — being built,” Hagel said in Ekaterina, Blinova on Thursday.

The Pentagon chief said the United States was currently facing a series of threats that would have to be dealt with in the “foreseeable future.”

Hagel’s remarks “seem to illustrate two important aspects of our culture here in the United States and that is that we are a capitalist-corporate system and that we are predominately a military industrial complex,” former CIA contractor Steven D. Kelley told Press TV on Saturday.

“The capitalist system requires constant growth over a long-term period, so when you have a country that is dependent on military industrial complex for economic growth, you have a system that essentially requires long-term never-ending war which will constantly be increasing,” he continued.

This means that corporations and weapons manufacturers are in need of endless wars, Kelley said. “[But] the world is a finite space and you cannot have endless wars so eventually this will have to require creating wars even in domestic situations.”

“So clearly this is a very dangerous [and] scary situation for everybody in the world because there is no desire for peace and no desire for the war to ever stop,” he continued. “And this is definitely a bad situation for all humans on earth.”

Former and current US officials have acknowledged that the new war against ISIL in Iraq and Syria could potentially last for decades.

"What we’re seeing in the Middle East with ISIL is going to require a steady, long-term effort. It's going to require coalitions of common interest," Hagel said Thursday.

Let us also not forget the ‘weapons grade anthrax’ – such the ‘memory hole’?

When American ‘Politicians’ can be held captive behind closed doors and informed that unless they ‘vote’ a certain way then there will be Martial Law; when acts of racketeering by mere gangsters can be rationalised as ‘International Finance’ while hundreds of millions of People suffer through misplaced trust; when there is no attempt to hold the perpetrators of such crime to ‘Justice’ because there is a combination of denial and ‘capture’ of the regulatory bodies and mechanisms supposedly in situ to prevent such criminality – then something is seriously wrong with the concept of the Western World as ‘Free’ ?

Isolated computer to be hacked with only a cellphone at Denver cybersecurity conference

Security researchers at Ben Gurion University have found a way to infiltrate a closed network to lift data from an isolated computer using little more than a cellphone’s FM radio receiver.

To evade air-gap security measures, keylogging app Airhopper, as its known, uses radio frequencies to transmit data from a computer, all by exploiting the computer's display.

“This is the first time that a mobile phone is considered in an attack model as the intended receiver of maliciously crafted radio signals emitted from the screen of the isolated computer,” according to a release by Ben Gurion University.

NYPD arrests, ‘brutalizes’ peace activist McGovern ahead of Petraeus speech

The New York Police Department has detained prominent peace activist and former CIA agent Ray McGovern, with witnesses saying he was “yelling in pain” during arrest. McGovern was detained ahead of a David Petraeus speech that he planned to attend.

McGovern was detained before the start of a talk between former CIA director DavidPetraeus, retired US Army Lt. Col. John Nagl, and author Max Boot on American Foreign Policy at the 92nd St Y., an Upper East Side cultural community center.

Anti-war group 'The World Can’t Wait' said the activist was arrested “at protest of speech.” He was reportedly prevented by security from entering, charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, and will not be arraigned until Friday. The group has called for McGovern’s release on Twitter and Facebook. The World Can’t Wait alleged on Twitter that McGovern was “brutalized” by the NYPD and later reported “screams coming from backroom” where the activist was being held. RT has contacted the NYPD who have yet to respond to allegations.

It appeared that the activist was detained even before entering the venue, despite having a ticket for the event.

Independent journalist and filmmaker Cat Watters was due to film McGovern during the talk, asking a question of Petraeus, but as she arrived she saw McGovern being arrested by police, telling them “I have a ticket!” Watters told RT that McGovern has a shoulder injury and was apparently yelling in pain during the arrest.

The bodies of 286 women have recently been discovered in the eastern Ukrainian city of Krasnoarmeisk while almost 400 women between the ages of 18 and 25 are still listed as missing, Alexander Zakharchenko, prime minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic said Friday, according to RIA Novosti.

"Around 400 women between the ages of 18 and 25 have gone missing in Krasnoarmeisk where [Ukrainian forces] Dnepr-1 was based. The bodies of 286 women around Krasnoarmeisk who had been raped have been discovered," Zakharchenko said at a meeting with students from Donetsk National Technical University.

A 5 August NBC story, titled “Send President Obama Ebola as Birthday Gift, Some Israelis Say,” reports that, according to a recent poll, 46% of Israelis “said they wanted to give Barack Obama an envelope containing the Ebola virus as a present for his 53rd birthday.”*

Note, these aren’t just “some” Israelis, as NBC writes; these are almost half of Israelis.*

Vox also ran a story, published on 4 August, when 48% of polled Israelis had advocated sending Ebola. (10% more wanted to send Obama a song based on Prime Minister Netanyahu telling Obama to “never second guess me again.” Never second guess the supreme leader of your totalitarian apartheid ethnostate. Does anyone else smell fascism?)*
