Assalaamu Alaikum:

This video ("Silence is Consent") is indeed timely and on point! I am reminded of the words of Imam Ali ibn abu-Talib (ra), and Paul Robeson.

Ali said: "Three classes of men [and women] are cut off from the blessings of Paradise: (1) oppressors; (2) those who aid and abet oppression; (3) and those who tolerate oppression."

Robeson said: "Every artist must decide to use their art for slavery or for freedom."

May ALLAH bless the producers of this thought-provoking video to ALWAYS elect to use their talents for FREEDOM (and not merely in blind, sould destroying pursuit of the bling bling!). Ameen.
