A month-and-a-half-old child injured in an Israeli attack on Gaza died of her wounds Monday, health ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra said.
The death of Mayda Mohammed Aslan in a central Gaza attack brings to 1,940 the number of Palestinians killed since Israel launched its terror campaign against the besieged strip on July 8.
The killing of the infant makes her one of the youngest victims of Israel's US-backed assault, now in its 35th day.
As of Sunday night, 467 children, 243 women and 87 elderly have been killed in the assault, Qudra wrote on Twitter. Of the 10,000 Palestinians injured, 3,009 were children, 1,912 women, and 359 elderly.

Israeli Genocide and its Willing Accomplices
By: Elias
Israel’s total war against Gaza has provoked condemnation from millions of people around the world, greater outrage at their crimes against humanity, and calls for an international war crimes tribunal. If such a tribunal were to be convoked, the question arises of how wide the net should be cast – where to draw the line between leaders, soldiers, masses and complicit overseas supporters, all implicated to one degree or another? How many ‘willing accomplices’ to mass murder should be investigated and tried?

Dr. Mads Gilbert: Solidarity with Gaza! If no siege, no tunnels! – If no occupation, no rockets!
http://electronicintifada.net/blogs/ali-abunimah/video-palestinian-resistance-gaza-fighting-all-us-says-dr-mads-gilbert
In a powerful 25 minute speech on his return home to Tromsø, Norway from 15 days treating the wounded in Gaza, the Norwegian emergency surgeon Dr Mads Gilbert said: “The heart of the Earth beats in Gaza now. It bleeds, but it beats.”
Dr. Mads Gilbert: I know you applaud for Gaza. I know you applaud for those who are there, the heroes of Gaza. This will be no easy appeal to make, because I am now overcome by the mildness, the warmth, the safety, the absence of bombs, jets, blood and death. And then all that we’ve had to keep inside comes to the surface – so forgive me if sometimes I break.

Gaza massacre Israel rerun of Nazi genocide
This is well known in Palestine where Israeli Soldiers enjoy posing for photos with their dead victims a souvenir to show to their equally ‘brave cold blooded comrades’- so no surprises here to see their Government distributing these souvenirs of the War Crimes of their most ‘moral army in the world’- bragging about its achievements- perhaps these photos can be used by Israel’s US Ambassador to get the Nobel Peace Prize for the Israeli Collective Killing Machine that he feels they have earned, or perhaps Ban Ki Moon himself would like to present them all with a UN Prize as he was so compelled to give his sympathies to the Israelis. But not one word about the WMDS used o Holocaust 2000 Palestinians In Gaza along with the 10,000 injured/maimed, 350,000 displaced or even for those Palestinians killed in the West Bank over the same period.
We truly live in a sick world, just like the souvenirs American soldiers took from Iraqis , soldiers trained well by Israel’s IOF and Mossad operatives.
A State, a Government, a Military that releases Photos as Souvenirs for its War Crimes committed against innocent besieged imprisoned civilians is truly a sick immoral psychotic State has no place in the World Community..

Israel army distributes shocking photos of Gaza as souvenir
Israeli army sources say pictures of a devastated Gaza neighborhood have been distributed among Israeli soldiers as a memento.
The photos, showing Gaza’s Shijaiyah district before and after Israel’s destructive attacks, were circulated among soldiers who were engaged in the aggression in the Palestinian coastal enclave.
On July 20, dozens of people lost their lives and many others injured in Israel’s brutal massacre of Palestinians in Gaza's eastern Shejaiya district.
Witnesses said bodies of Palestinian women and children were lying on the ground after Israel attacked the Shejaiyah neighborhood in Gaza, forcing thousands of panicked civilians to flee.
The Israeli army reportedly prevented ambulances and emergency services from reaching the area.

JAPAN's SONY COMPLICIT- a shitty country that sold its country's soul after WW2 to the Zionist controlled who destroyed her country with their Jewish created Atom bomb, Japan losing its honour and dignity to the Zionists that control their country.
It is a hypocrite that preaches Peace and non militarism and yet here it is giving Israel cameras and high tech control boards that assisted in the bombing of Gaza. It seems Nagasaki and Hiroshima means nothing to its lackey leadership
another Company we should consider Boycotting
Sony helps Israel in Gaza offensive’
Newly-found evidence indicates that Japan’s electronics giant, Sony, has assisted Israel in its deadly offensive against the besieged Gaza Strip, Press TV reports.
A piece of an Israeli rocket discovered by Press TV correspondent in Gaza showed that Sony Corporation has provided the Israel regime with cameras and high-tech control boards to equip its missiles.
A camera apparently manufactured by Sony has been mounted on the rocket piece to help Israeli warplanes choose their targets in the Gaza Strip.
Canada Has Sold Millions in Military-Grade Hardware to Israel
The shock and awe of Israeli military technology might be happening thousands of miles from North America, in Gaza, but Canadians shouldn’t feel too left out. A government report shows some of that military hardware could very well be Canadian made.
It’s no secret the American government offers up military support to the Israelis, even in the face of their controversial war with Hamas in Gaza. But after The Intercept cast light on the wider Five Eyes involvement with the Israelis, the previously unknown Canadian support for the IDF was exposed.
And the Canadian contributions to the embattled Israeli government have gone beyond signals intelligence and into the realm of physical reinforcements.
According to the latest released Foreign Affairs department report on the lawful export of Canadian military-grade products, shipments to Israel between 2010 and 2011 amount to over $6.3 million worth of equipment. The report says gear classified under automatic rifles and their components, military training simulators, bombs, torpedoes, and unmanned aerial vehicles, were all potentially sold to the Israelis.
It’s worth noting the Canadian government didn’t provide the military technology from its own stock. But it approved the shipping of millions of dollars worth of gear from Canadian contractors. These types of sales are subject to strict arms control laws and international treaties.
The big ticket items in both years appear to be “Software” and “Technology” designated military exports, along with some naval gear. In 2010, the Israelis purchased $814,666 worth of unnamed Canadian software, with another, larger purchase, amounting to $2,626,245 in 2011.
The vaguely designated “Technology” procured from 2010 to 2011 amounted to close to $3.5 million.
And that’s not all the military gear shipped from Canada to the lone Jewish state in the Middle East.
Israel also purchased over $500,000 worth of Canadian products classified as, “Bombs, torpedoes, rockets, missiles, other explosive devices and charges, and related equipment and accessories specially designed for military use.”
But the numbers in the Foreign Affairs report only tell part of the story. Another little-known government report from Industry Canada shows ammunition sales to Israel spiking from 2010 to 2013.
Under a similar designation as the Foreign Affairs report, Canadian domestic exports of “Other ammunition,” which includes “Bombs, Grenades, Torpedoes, Mines,” went from just over $50,000 in 2010 to $1.8 million in 2013, and was among the top 25 product exports to Israel from Canada cited online by the government.
It’s possible these “bombs” and assorted explosives in both lists could be crowd-control offensive weapons like flash-bang grenades, and other non-lethal materials.
The Foreign Affairs report also suggests drones or smaller aircraft components, which have taken up an almost cultural spectre for Palestinians as buzzing eyes in the sky, might’ve been purchased from Canadian contractors.
Under the 2-10 description in the Foreign Affairs report, which includes “aircraft, lighter-than-air vehicles” and “unmanned airborne vehicles,” the Israelis purchased over $600,000 of unknown equipment.
Unfortunately the Foreign Affairs and Industry Canada reports both provide unspecific weapons classifications under vague code numbers like “2-14,” “2-9,” or “930690” with accompanying imprecise descriptions. That means knowing exactly what kind of materials were sold to Israel is a relative guessing game.
We do know that shadowy defence contractors like SNC Lavalin (known to have unsavoury international relationships), and CAE have done extensive business with the Israelis before.
I asked Foreign Affairs to clarify some of the details on the military exports to Israel, specifically what the “Software” and “Technology” shipped off were exactly.
“I can tell you that the top military exports to Israel between 2010 and 2011,” said spokesperson Adam Hodge, “included technology relating to equipment for naval vessels, various electronic equipment and components, and aircraft technology.”
When it came to names of companies Hodge wouldn’t elaborate: “For reasons of commercial confidentiality, we are not able to provide further details.”
Hodge did tell me that the Canadian federal government will continue to support Israel because “that is what friends and allies do,” with “no plans in changing our current arrangement with Israel.”
Hodge also said the, “fight against international terrorism is the great struggle of our generation. Israel is constantly on the front lines of this struggle.”
Increased Israeli purchases of Canada’s finest military products, matches overall rising Canadian military exports under the Harper government and the cozier diplomatic relationship developing between Canada and Israel.
In January, Prime Minister Harper took time out of his Israeli trade tour to become the first foreign leader to address the Knesset. On the same trip, Harper was accompanied by a variety of private business types looking for opportunities in Israel.
The Canadians are also buying from the Israelis. Just recently, the Canadian Press reported, the Canadians were looking to outfit their executive planes carrying Harper on trips abroad, with anti-missile radar systems provided by Elbit systems (Israel’s top defence contractor).
Israeli officials were also present at CANSEC in late May, Canada’s premier defence trade show, purveying Canadian made military hardware, ostensibly, to potentially buy gear.
Ultimately, whether you agree with the Canadian military exports to Israel or not, there’s one undeniable truth: One country, or regional political organization not on the Foreign Affairs report, was the Palestinian Authority.

Gaza is steadfastness, Gaza is heroes, Gaza is revolution, Gaza is rage, Gaza is victory, Gaza is the lifeline of the Palestinian people. Our blood is not more precious than the blood of the children or the resistance of Gaza. We will redeem you Gaza. We are all with you Gaza. Do not rely on the Arabs; tell them to sleep comfortably. But we Palestinians do not fear rifles or cannons.

Here we go again, choosing someone who is actually an Israeli supporter but pretending not to be and being presented as anti Israel which makes a mockery of Law- one statement of his tells you the whole story in just one sentence: pointing out that he’s on the editorial board of the Israel Law Review.
Plus the fact that BAIRD is a staunch Zionist pro Israeli Canadian, just like Harper. Why is Canada being given the selection of International Lawyers in any case?? Who is Schabas and what is his ethnic background.!
We all saw the sham of the previous so called UN Human Rights Report and the subsequent revelation that Ban Ki Moon made great efforts on behalf of Israel, to suppress the Report
Palestinians will never get justice from the UN, Human Rights Reports or from ICC as they are all bought by Israel and its Zionist ideology. They may utter mild criticism just to make it look ‘fair’ and balanced but at the end of the day, the report will be shoved into the dustbin of Zionist controlled history of the UN/ICC

Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird tweets disdain at choice of human rights investigators
A Canadian law professor chosen to helm a United Nations commission examining possible war crimes in Gaza scoffed Monday at charges he’s biased against Israel, while Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird scoffed at the UN.
“The suggestion that I’m anti-Israel is absurd,” William Schabas said Monday in an interview from Toronto, pointing out that he’s on the editorial board of the Israel Law Review.
“Like everybody inside and outside Israel, I disagree with people. Is everyone in Israel who has an opinion about (Benjamin) Netanyahu anti-Israel?”
Schabas, who currently works as an international law professor at Middlesex University in England, is one of three lawyers who will investigate any violations of international humanitarian and human rights law in Gaza.

DUFFEH- WEST BANK

Israeli soliders use live fire and expanding bullets to shatter the legs of West Bank protesters.
‘…At 10 PM on August 8, a twenty-year-old resident of the Al Amari refugee camp named Muhammad Qatri arrived dead at the Palestinian Medical Complex in Ramallah. He had been killed by Israeli soldiers during a protest near the illegal West Bank settlement of Psagot — shot through the heart right on the spot on his shirt that read, “Gaza.”
From the parking lot outside the hospital’s emergency room, a group of men bellowed chants about the latest unarmed young man to fall before Israeli gunfire in an usually bloody few weeks. I arrived at the hospital gates with a colleague and met Dr. Rajai Abukhalil, a 26-year-old resident physician who had just phoned Qatri’s father to deliver the bad news. Not even midway through his night shift, Abukhalil was already on his fifth coffee and still awaiting a free moment to take breakfast
At a coffee kiosk behind the hospital’s emergency room, Abukhalil told me Qatri’s body arrived cold. The soldiers who killed him had apparently delayed his evacuation by at least an hour, possibly preventing the opportunity to save his life.
Most disturbing about the killing was how familiar scenes like it had become. According to Abukhalil, the Israeli army has exhibited a clear pattern of either shooting to kill or shooting to cripple over the past six months. Rather than disperse protests with traditional means like teargas and rubber coated metal bullets, the army has begun firing at protesters’ knees, femurs, or aiming for their vital organs.
Like the army’s old policy of breaking the arms of young stone throwers to deter protests during the First Intifada, the new tactic suggests an attempt to winnow out the ranks of demonstrators by shattering their legs. By eroding the front line of protests through brute force, Israel’s military is apparently trying to undermine the capacity of Palestinian society to mount an effective new Intifada.
“It’s very much like the bone breaking policy of the First Intifada but it’s a more specific and less media attention-grabbing policy,” Abukhalil explained to me. “No matter how much people want to resist, everyone’s human. If you get shot or someone next to you gets shot, you won’t be on the front line at the next clash. And then there will be no front line.”
Abukhalil said he first witnessed signs of the shoot to cripple policy in the Jalazone refugee camp near Ramallah. Following the gratuitous killing of a 15-year-old boy shot in the back in December by a sniper hiding near his school, protests raged throughout the camp. As the army cracked down, it began aiming for the knees of demonstrators, according to Abukhalil.
“Every Friday we’d have ten to twenty guys coming in [to the hospital] all injured around the knees,” he explained. He added that many of the wounded demonstrators claimed to have heard the Israeli commander in Jalazone, “Hilal,” order his soldiers to cripple as many protesters as they could……….’
