Judicial Watch Obtains Documents Revealing FBI Declared Mateen “NOT” to be a Terrorist

Judicial Watch today released previously undisclosed documents from the St. Lucie, Florida, Sheriff’s Department revealing the FBI informed the sheriff’s office in late 2013 that Omar Mateen was “NOT” a terrorist and was no threat to “go postal.” [Emphasis in original] The email from the St. Lucie Sheriff’s Department details the remarks were made during a phone conversation with Randall Glass, the Florida regional resident in charge for the FBI. Other documents show Mateen admitted to initially lying to the FBI about past statements tying him to the Boston Marathon bombers, the Fort Hood terrorist, and al Qaeda terrorists in Kenya.

Netanyahu: I hope Israel, U.S. will conclude military aid deal in coming weeks

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that he hopes to close ongoing talks and reach a deal with the United States concerning long-term military aid to Israel in the coming weeks.

Addressing Israeli lawmakers during the local version of Question Time, the prime minister said that "I hope that within a few weeks, we will close the agreement on defense aid with the United States."

During an appearance on Monday before the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman reportedly said he believes that Israel and the United States will wrap up negotiations on long-term future American military aid by Rosh Hashanah, which this year begins on October 2. The comments were reported by two Knesset members who attended the meeting but asked not to be identified because the session was classified as secret.

Falsely decried as an “anti-Israel” administration, the Obama White House is signaling that it is open to providing Israel with an unprecedented amount of support both in terms of financing and military assistance. If the reports coming out of Israeli media are true, the new agreement with Israel would be the largest amount of aid provided to any country in U.S. history. The US and Israel have been engaged in intense negotiations in recent months to outline US military aid to Israel for the next 10 years. Israel is demanding $40 billion over the next ten years, a sizeable jump from the $30 billion over 10 years given to Israel over the past decade. The tentative agreement is yet one more example of the falsity of the left-right paradigm that sees the “right” accuse the false “left” of being “weak on terror,” “weak on Iran,” and “anti-Israel” all while the false “left” is actually launching wars across the world, bullying Iran into accepting a deal it should by no means have to accept, and giving Israel the largest amount of assistance in U.S. history.

The President and the 83 Senators who signed this letter, apparently, need to be reminded of the following fact: under the Symington Amendment, all military and financial aid to Israel is completely illegal.

The Symington Amendment expressly forbids any aid to countries which will not sign the NNPT, and refuse to have their weapons facilities inspected; unlike Iran, Israel refuses to sign the NNPT, and have its nuclear facilities inspected.

But, then again, the President and Senators believe that law....only applies to "us little people", and not to themselves, particularly when it comes to Israel, even when that aid breaks American law, as it does in this instance.

2003 video shows then-Saudi FM asking to declassify 28 pages of 911 report

For years in the wake of the September 11 attacks, 28 classified pages from a US government inquiry have proven to be a bone of contention.

Many claimed that the unreleased documents contained links between Saudi officials and hijackers colluding to hatch the terror plot, which left over 3,000 people killed. Others believed that the kingdom did not want the documents to see the light of day.

On Friday, the US congress released the 28 pages, after years of wrangling in Washington between Congress and different administrations, Republicans and Democrats, and urging by families of the victims.

After reviewing the 28 pages, US intelligence officials say the documents show no evidence of Saudi complicity, the White House confirmed on the same day.

The devastating effect of the earthquake on a very poor nation provoked worldwide concern and inspired an outpouring of aid money intended to rebuild Haiti. Countries around the world, as well as private and philanthropic groups such as the Red Cross and the Salvation Army, provided some $10.5 billion in aid, with $3.9 billion of it coming from the United States.

 

Haitians such as Andre, however, noticed that very little of this aid money actually got to poor people in Haiti. Some projects championed by the Clintons, such as the building of industrial parks and posh hotels, cost a great deal of money and offered scarce benefits to the truly needy. Port-au-Prince was supposed to be rebuilt; it was never rebuilt. Projects aimed at creating jobs proved to be bitter disappointments. Haitian unemployment remained high, largely undented by the funds that were supposed to pour into the country. Famine and illness continued to devastate the island nation.

Why it Matters the Dallas Police Used a Drone to Kill Someone in America

the first time in American history that a drone (wheels for now, maybe wings later) was used to kill an American citizen on American soil.

I get it, I get it.

 

The Dallas sniper had killed five cops. He was prepared to kill as many more as he could. He was in a standoff with police, and negotiations had broken down. The Supreme Court has made it clear that in cases such as this, the due process clause (i.e., a trial before execution in this instance) does not apply. If not for the robot bomb, the Dallas police would have eventually shot the sniper anyway. They were fully in their legal rights to kill him. None of those issues are in contention. I am not suggesting in any way the cops should have invited the sniper out for tea.

I am suggesting we stop and realize that in 2016 the police used a robot to send in an explosive to blow a person up. I am unaware that such a thing has happened in Russia, North Korea, China, Iran or other places where the rule of law is held by the few in power.
