What is underway in the Iraqi city of Mosul is far, and I do mean light-years-type far, from black and white. And the overwhelming majority of geopolitical analysts and commentators on both sides of the divide, mainstream and alternative, are getting it so miserably wrong that it would be comedic if it wasn’t so detrimental to the “Resistance Vs. Hegemony” narrative that all of us dedicate our lives to upholding. On the one hand, American exceptionalist warmongers are elated with delusional glee over US warplanes “paving the way” for Iraqi forces and falsely claiming something to the effect of not even a single bullet could have been fired without American approval. They’re also despicably framing the Mosul battle in obscene sectarian terms that reek of baselessness and Zionism.
Then on the other hand, “Anti-Imperialists” are brushing off all the Iraqi participants in the fight for Mosul as nothing but mere Amreeki pawns for an elaborate ruse to move terrorists into Syria, not to mention that the fight for Mosul itself is nothing but some grandiose manifestation of Amreeki political theater to give Obama and Zio-Killary a “win” for the upcoming US presidential election. And of course, the role of ‘Israel’, which lurks in the background of every Arab military arena from Iraq to Syria to Yemen, has also been entirely left out of the discussion– a reflection of woeful ignorance and/or ulterior motives on the parts of the aforementioned observers. So let’s navigate through the murky, maddening maze that is the Mosul operation and find some much-needed clarity on all fronts.
First and foremost, the decision to move on Mosul was Iraqi, not American. Period. It would have gone down right here, right now, at this very moment, whether there was a US election or not. For this was a battle brewing for over a year and has been rapidly heading towards the proverbial “judgment day” ever since the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd al-Shaabi) alongside the Iraqi army liberated Fallujah and the rest of Al-Anbar. That the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units are participating in the battle, in spite of US attempts to sideline them as it occurred in Heet for example, profoundly shows the limited nature of American influence on current Iraqi battlefield affairs as well as an American failure to dictate the terms of how the battle to free Mosul is going to be waged.
Moreover, we are barely a week into the fight for Mosul and the Iraqi army is already complaining of US warplanes horribly delayingair strikes when they’re called in. This bizarre lack of support has forced Iraqi soldiers to change their tactics to something between conventional and guerrilla warfare in mid-advance and has also led to unnecessary–or perhaps, in the eyes of the murderous US ZOG, not so unnecessary–casualties. It has in fact been the rather inexperienced Iraqi Air Force that is doing the bulk of the damage to the key positions of ISIS and “paving the way” for our men to advance. And advance they have! Over 74 towns and villages have been liberated and more than 772 ISIS terrorists have been obliteratedsince the Mosul operation began. In other words, the Iraqi military is progressing IN DEFIANCE of America, not BECAUSE of America.
There is also the deceptive element of “piggy-backing” at work here. The US ZOG has in place a policy of proclaiming victories it either didn’t achieve at all (Jaref al-Sakher aka Jaref al-Nasr–the first victory against ISIS–which was led by Iranian IRGC Quds Force Commander Qassem Suleimani), or played such a minuscule role at the tail-end of a battle just to put down its signature like dogs marking their territory (Tikrit, where Harakat Hizbullah al-Nujaba did most of the heavy lifting and then backed out when the US said it was going to get involved), OR, most disturbing and infuriating of all, has been implementing deeply malevolent designs which have led to more work, more chaos and more Iraqi martyrs (Ramadi, which was labeled “liberated” by Washington in late December last year in a massive public relations operation but wasn’t truly freed until months later when Iraqi soldiers and Hashd al-Shaabi militiamen went back in to cleanse it of terrorism from top to bottom). Why is this the US ZOG’s policy?
The answer is quite simple. Because as it has been repeated at length through the years by Hizbullah, Iran, Yemen’s Ansarullah, the Syrian Arab Republic and the Iraqi Popular Mobilization itself, America does not intend to *defeat* ISIS, but rather *contain* ISIS for its own cynical political ends, chief of which is protecting ‘Israel’ and keeping those states and movements that oppose ‘Israel’ busy with fighting the scourge of Takfiri terrorism. In Iraq’s case particularly, this redundant but nevertheless critical point is solidified by the fact that since Hashd al-Shaabi was brought into being to combat Daesh at Ayatollah Sistani’s behest in the summer of 2014, American warplanes have slaughtered its fighters with deliberate air raids in Fallujah, Beiji, Tikrit and Hawijah. On October 5th, at least 21 members of the Iraqi pro-government militia Hashd al-Ashayeri–a Sunni unit of the Popular Mobilization—were murdered by a US air strike in Qayyara after they had halted an ISIS assault. On October 22nd, American warplanes bombed a funeral in Daquq, slaughtering dozens of Iraqis and wounding dozens more, with ISIS launching sleeper cell attacks 30 kilometers north in Kirkuk!
Why didn’t America aid Hashd al-Ashayeri? Why were American warplanes bombing mourners like their Saudi tools in Yemen did in Sanaa two weeks ago instead of attacking the terrorists their fake “anti-ISIS” coalition is supposed to be “degrading and destroying”? Again, the answer is simple: Because America’s sole interest is not eliminating ISIS, but keeping it alive as its 4th Generation Warfare Army whilst maintaining the Zionist media-constructed illusion that Washington is “doing everything it can” to render the terrorist gang obsolete. This legerdemain isn’t lost on Iraqis either. Ali Musa Yadekar, the head of the Kirkuk Provincial Council’s security committee, openly accused the US of backing ISIS during a recent assault by the terrorist horde inside Kirkuk City.
As for the US-Saudi scheme to transfer some 9,000 Daeshi terrorists from Mosul to the eastern fronts of Syria–as if there are even that many ISIS fighters in Iraq’s north to begin with–namely Raqqa, Deir Ezzor and Free Tadmur (Palmyra), no doubt it is afoot, irrespective of the inaccurate numbers. But are the Syrians, the Russians and we Iraqis as well not the ones who have been ringing the alarm about this very scheme? Are we not cognizant of what’s happening in our own borders, in our own homelands and in our own region? Moreover, before Moscow, Damascus and the Iraqi Mouqawamah began to mobilize to stave off the scheme, it was none other than Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah during his Ashoura speech who raised awareness about this issue. The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units responded to the Sayyed’s revelation in a declaration that they would not, under any circumstances, allow ISIS to escape.
In another statement, Hashd al-Shaabi announced that it would focus on setting up a perimeter in Rif al-Mosul (the Mosul outskirts/countryside), specifically the strategic region of Tal Afar (ISIS’s primary line that links Mosul to Syria), to surround the Daeshis and prevent the scoundrels from fleeing Iraqi justice into the safe arms of their Takfiri brethren in Raqqa. The Iraqi Air Force, no, not the Americans, but THE IRAQI AIR FORCE, has bombed and killed MossadDaesh fighters fleeing the Mosul front. The Syrian Arab Army has harshly warned that any hostile force attempting to enter Syria from the Iraqi border will be dealt with accordingly. And Russia for its part has revamped T-4 Military Airport in east Homs as a launchpad for its fighter jets (and the Syrian Arab Air Force) to swiftly neutralize any potential influx of terrorists from Iraq.
So while the US ZOG and Riyadh undoubtedly *WANT* a terrorist corridor, the likelihood of this diabolical proposition actually being established under the watchful eyes of Russia, Syria, Hizbullah and the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units, which contain many a group trained by the Lebanese Islamic Resistance, is slim to none. It is Iraqis, Syrians and Lebanese (as well as Iranians) who are being martyred on the front lines in the struggle against the US-‘Israeli’-NATO-GCC-created Frankenstein of ISIS. Not Americans or any other Westerners. And the reason our region has not fallen into the Empire’s hands is because of the very sacrifices made by these dauntless men. In layman’s terms, they damn well know what they’re doing and have proven so time and time again. Thus, they should be, at the absolute bare minimum, given the benefit of the doubt and saluted for their resistance and their victories before keyboard commandos and armchair “analysts” write them off as “incompetent” (in Syria’s case), “naive” (in Russia’s case) and “proxies” (in the case of Iraqis).
On that note, the penultimate point comes to the surface. It isn’t even remotely disputable that the US-ZOG-created Iraqi government is one of the most significantly corrupt institutions in the entire Global South. Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, a stooge of both Washington and London, is an especially loathsome collaborationst fellow. Watching him froth at the mouth about Turkey–which, make no mistake, should unequivocally be condemned for the Neo-Ottoman occupier it is and kicked off Iraqi territory by any means necessary–while remaining cordial with the Americans and inviting more of them into our nation every time we turn our heads, the very same Zio-Imperialists who have been sanctioning, invading, occupying and pillaging our country for the last 26 years, is nauseating. Above and beyond this obvious hypocrisy, there is the glaring reality that ISIS is nothing more than a lab experiment being funded, armed and trained by Western-Zionist powers. Iraq can thus never be free so long as Washington has its jackboot on our necks.
Abadi and his allies in Baghdad either do not grasp this or are too cowardly to tackle it. Hashd al-Shaabi on the other hand issues a warning just about everyday regarding the dangers posed by the presence of even one American occupier on Iraqi soil. Numerous Iraqi army officials are joining the Popular Mobilization’s mindset in light of America’s repeated (and calculated) betrayal of Iraqi national military forces. So if ANYONE in Iraq is to be labeled a “proxy” of the US regime, it is the clownish politicians in Baghdad… Not the soldiers, militiamen and Mouqawamah moujahideen who are genuinely and literally putting their lives on the line every single day to rid Iraq of the US-backed Takfiri current.
And who exactly are these men that we speak of? They are Iraqis from all faiths, all ethnicities and all different parts of Iraq. This is indeed our final and most devastating counter-propaganda item. The struggle for Mosul is not “Shi’a-led” as the Zionist media has been portraying it for weeks, nor is it some sort of impending “humanitarian catastrophe” for the Sunnis of Mosul as the vomit-inducing likes of charlatan Ken Roth from Human Rights Watch have been propagating. Both the Iraqi Popular Mobilization and the Iraqi army are comprised of Shi’a, Sunnis, Sufis, Christians (including Chaldeans, Syriacs, Eastern Orthodox and others), Ezadis, Shabakis, Arabs, Kurds, Assyrians, Armenians, Turkmen and even some Circassians.
The “We Are On Hand!” slogan has never been more apt, nor has it ever been as important as it is now. Like Fallujah, where Sunnis welcomed the Iraqi Resistance with open arms, the Sunnis of Mosul too have waited a long, LONG time for their brothers to come to their aid–and by brothers of course I mean their fellow Iraqis, who they view as their own family, not their sectarian blood-rivals. We have seen Muslim Iraqi soldiers and moujahideen raising crosses over churches and ringing church bells to mark liberation. We have seen teary-eyed Christian priests kissing these Muslim soldiers and thanking them for their bravery.
“We Are One Hand” isn’t just something that Iraqis say but the way that Iraqis live and it is in the air and on full gorgeous display across Mosul. Which reminds me: Erdogan, who infuriatingly and absurdly declared that Mosul belongs to Turkey and that after liberation, only Sunnis will be allowed to live in Mosul, can choke on his bigotry, delusions and sectarian filth. Mosul, a city comprised of every beautiful background in Iraq, will be restored to all of its pluralistic glory and will not only be MossadDaesh-free but Neo-Ottoman-free as well once our men complete their mission. The Mad Takfiri Tyrant of Turkey can literally pound sand.
Let us be clear: Any framing of regional happenings, principally Iraq, in sectarian terms, is the work of ‘Israel’–and this includes Erdogan’s blabbering. It was the putrid Zionist cancer’s Oded Yinon, with his paper “A Strategy For ‘Israel’ In The 1980s”, who laid out the balkanization strategy for the entire Arab-Islamic world. For Iraq, he envisioned a set-up of three provinces (Arab Shi’a, Arab Sunni and Kurdish) to make Iraq weak and remove it from the equation vis-à-vis the Arab conflict with ‘Israel’. It is the putrid Zionist cancer which is receiving the bulk of the oil and antiquities that ISIS steals from Iraq and then shoots over to the Turkish regime for processing before ultimately winding up in “Tel Aviv”. It is the putrid Zionist cancer which backs the traitorous “Kurdistan” Regional Government (KRG) of the Barzani-Talabani mafia–a regime that has been secretly allied with Daesh from day one–with weapons and political support and would love to see chauvinistic, expansionist-minded Kurdish forces take chunks of Mosul for their artificial state that could further serve as hubs for Mossad activity in Iraq. This is yet another obstacle Iraqi forces have been scouting for and actively attempting to overcome not only in Mosul but Kirkuk. And our men have found success with their resistance. Hence why the ‘Israeli’-trained, ‘Israeli’-armed Peshmerga have just officially pulled out of the Mosul operation.
And speaking of Mossad, it is the putrid Zionist cancer’s international death squad which works side-by-side with Daesh and the operatives of the neocon-founded P2OG program planting car bombs in an attempt to inflame sectarian divisions across Iraqi society. This is affirmed by the Iraqi Popular Mobilization routinely finding ‘Israeli’ arms, cell phones and even shekels in ISIS hideouts after certain regions are freed from Takfiri occupation. Case in point: On top of America not wanting Daesh defeated in Iraq, the putrid Zionist cancer ABSOLUTELY does NOT want Mosul liberated as such a triumph will severely cripple its regime of subversion that has been in place since the invasion of ’03.
Bringing it all full-circle, how then shall we categorize the Mosul operation? In exceedingly easy-to-comprehend terms: Mosul is a fight against Zionism, American Imperialism and Wahhabism. Mosul is a struggle for Iraq as well as for Syria. Mosul is a battle for our region, our Ummah and the whole globe. The liberation of Mosul brings Iraq one step closer to liberation from American clutches and puts us back on the path to independence and real sovereignty.
If this was not EXACTLY what Mosul was, our guide and our pride Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, our magnetic north the Islamic Republic of Iran and our backbone Syria wouldn’t be supporting it, albeit with rightful concern over the dirty American hands in the mix. And considering this, in addition to all of the above, the Mosul operation should be backed by Anti-Imperialists worldwide… With caution obviously, just like Hizbullah, Damascus and Tehran. Navigation through the murky, maddening maze of Mosul complete. Now, with “We Are One Hand!” booming so loudly among our multi-ethnic, multi-communal fighters and soldiers that the angels are delighted by the gorgeous sound, we move onward to sending what remains of Daesh back to the hellish hole it originally crawled out of and liberating Iraq from its Zionist-birthed terror in totality. Godspeed o’ Iraqis! Godspeed!
