Thank you for your heartfelt and soulful tribute to Michael, Jonathan. Another perspective that you might have missed due to the sorrow and brokenness of the man prior to his passing from this vale of tears is that, as a single man, sans a spouse, he was free and unencumbered to read, research and write prolifically about dangerous topics without the shackles of worry and concern that are incumbent upon the married man who has a DUTY to protect his wife and children before all else. Perhaps, too, he wanted to go to his eternity and considered his body indeed his very life nothing but a burden. He completed God's calling for his blessed existence did he not? He published the unabashed and ugly truth with nearly supernatural courage.

So let us bless and thank God for the gift of Michael Collins Piper to us in this dark, lying and treacherous time we inhabit. His life's work was, by no means, in vain but instead served as the lighthouse on the shore for many of us living within the four corners of this earth.
